Replacing electrical products that are damaged due to an electrical surge could be expensive. Have peace of mind and safeguard your electronics against the cost of repair due to a power surge.
For only $5.95 a month, the Electrical Surge Plan from CenterPoint Energy's Home Service Plus® (HSP) provides repair or replacement coverage protection up to $2,000 annually if your valuable electronics fail as a result of an electrical surge event.
If the item is not repairable or the cost of the repair exceeds the value of the covered item up to $2,000 annually, you are responsible for paying the remaining cost of the repair or replacement. There is a 30-day wait period following enrollment before an electrical surge claim can be filed.
