EZ Pay On-Bill Loan (EZPAY)
Get financing for home improvements and easy bill payments
Save energy and lower your costs by making home improvements – and pay for them conveniently on your monthly CenterPoint Energy natural gas bill.
You work with a registered EZPAY HVAC dealer, plumber, or insulation contractor to apply for the loan from our lending partner. After the loan is approved and your improvements are installed, you can make monthly loan installment payments on your regular monthly gas bill. Easy! And you’ll still receive CenterPoint Energy rebates for the eligible items installed.

Who is Eligible?
- CenterPoint Energy residential gas account in good standing
- No more than $50 past due
- No more than three late payments within the past 12 months
- Homeowner or owner of rental property

How to get started
Step 1: Decide what qualifying upgrades to install
To receive an EZPAY loan, choose one or more rebate-eligible items to install with your home improvement project.
Step 2: Contact a Registered EZPAY Trade Ally
Work with the participating
heating dealer, plumber, or insulation contractor of your choice. We recommend you get multiple bids on all home improvement projects.
Step 3: Apply for the EZPAY loan
Your Registered EZPAY trade ally will work with you and apply for the loan through a secure, online portal. You will be informed immediately if your loan application is pre-approved.
