Minneapolis - Loring Park Neighborhood

Project description: During the week of October 21, 2024, CenterPoint Energy’s authorized contractors will perform work in the Loring Park neighborhood of Minneapolis. Crews from Michels Corporation, a CenterPoint Energy authorized contractor, will perform a service line replacement and meter move on a single address along West Grant Street.
This work is a part of regular upgrades to the natural gas system that promote increased safety, resiliency, and reliable service.
Crews from Q3 Contracting will restore the areas affected by Michels Corporation’s work.
Traffic impacts: - Through traffic will be restricted on West Grant Street between Willow Street and LaSalle Avenue.
- Parking entrances will remain open while street parking on that block will be unavailable.
- Sidewalks will be open on both sides of West Grant Street.
- The bus stop for west bound transportation located at the intersection of LaSalle Avenue and West Grant Street will be closed for the duration of construction in the area.
