In areas where applicable, permits must be received before electric meters can be installed. If CenterPoint Energy construction is NOT required, and weather permits, meters are usually installed within three (3) business days from the scheduled start date of the move-in request received from your retail electric provider.
Please note: The address must be posted at the new electric meter location.
